The Format
Electronics expand the sound world of the pipe organ without replacing its acoustic identity. The organ remains the central live instrument, while electronic sound adds new colours, textures and spatial possibilities.
Organ & Electronics brings a different perspective to classical concert programming. The format opens the pipe organ to new sound worlds and reaches beyond the traditional organ public, offering a fresh listening experience while remaining rooted in the acoustic instrument.
The programmes work across organ festivals, classical concert series and contemporary concert contexts, offering a fresh perspective on the organ for diverse audiences.

Over the past years, Organ & Electronics has developed through a growing number of performances in churches, festivals and concert series in Germany and beyond.
The format reaches well beyond the traditional organ audience. Its concerts regularly attract younger listeners, people encountering the pipe organ live for the first time, and audiences from a wide range of backgrounds and communities. Some programmes have also been created specifically for LGBTQ+ audiences and inclusive concert settings.
