Vladimir Magalashvili received his early education as a chemist and worked in a research group at N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry in Moscow. During his first education, he began to study the organ and the piano professionally at the Academic Music College at Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with prof. Galina Semenova.

Vladimir received a Master's degree in organ music at the University of Arts in Berlin (class of prof. Leo van Doeselaar, Erwin Wiersinga, and Paolo Crivellaro). In the same year, he graduated with honors from the N.G. Zhiganov Kazan State Conservatory (class of prof. Rubin Abdullin).

Vladimir Magalashvili has performed solo recitals and ensemble concerts all over the world. He played with famous collectives, such as RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, conductors Ben Palmer, Sergey Neller, Teodor Currentzis.

Vladimir performed Russian premiere of M. Dupré Symphony No.2 for organ and orchestra and work of J.- L. Florentz at the International L. Roisman Organ Festival. 2018 year he won the 2nd prize in the Neubrandenburg Organ Competition (Germany). Vladimir is an organist of the Babylon Orchestra in Berlin and has been actively teaching and giving master classes. He is also a guest organist of the sirventes berlin Ensemble and regularly performs at the NoonSong in the Church at Hohenzollernplatz.

Vladimir specializes in the music of Marcel Dupré, which he often includes in his concerts. His master thesis, which he wrote during his studies, was devoted to an interpretation of Dupré's organ works. He collaborates with contemporary composers and performs premieres of solo organ works as well as works for organ with orchestra. His organ recordings were broadcast on Belgian radio.
In 2022 Vladimir created Organ.Light.Percussion.Electronics project that combines modern musical trends and classical forms of an organ concert.
